Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA) for Indonesia can be submitted directly by foreign nationals through molina.imigrasi.go.id without sponsors. Therefore, foreign nationals can apply for e-VoA and make online payments. However, what to do if data needs to be corrected after you submitted? "If foreign nationals make typos in essential parts such as name, citizenship, or passport number, then they must submit a new application for the Electronic Visa on Arrival because the e-VoA that has been issued cannot be revised," said the Sub-coordinator of Public Relations of the Directorate General of Immigration, Achmad Nur Saleh, Wednesday (10/05/2023). He continued that if there are typographical errors in other sections, for example, sex or place of birth, foreign nationals are still allowed to use their e-VoA to enter Indonesia. The procedure for re-applying for e-VoA is similar to applying for a new one. It is important to remember that e-VoA can be used to enter Indonesia for a maximum of 90 days from the issue date. The E-VoA is valid for 30 days from the date foreign nationals enter Indonesia. "E-VoA extension is available online through the same website, so foreign nationals don't need to reach the immigration office. E-VoA can only be extended once with a validity period of 30 days," said Achmad. Writer: Ajeng Rahma Safitri Editor: Yanos Okterano
