Get Ready! Registration for SDUWHV Batch 6 Opens on 28 August 2023!

JAKARTA – Registration for Support Letters for the Australian Work and Holiday Visa (SDUWHV) by the Directorate General of Immigration (DGI) will be opened on Monday (28/08/2023) at 09.00 WIB on the website whv.imigrasi.go.id. In this 6th batch, the DGI has opened a quota of 2,000 SDUWHV registrations. The SDUWHV application process is carried out online, while the SDUWHV documents are provided in electronic form. Sub-coordinator of Public Relations of the DGI, Achmad Nur Saleh, said that the verification of required documents was carried out without candidate interviews. "Please note that the requirements for proof of English language proficiency are assessed based on the average score of all test components, not based on the score per component (reading, writing, listening, speaking). If using an IELTS certificate, the minimum score is 4.5," explained Achmad, Tuesday (22/08/2023). In addition to IELTS, other options for English language proficiency certificates that can be submitted are: 1). Test of English Foreign Language Internet-Based (TOEFL iBT) with an overall score of 32 based on four test components, namely speaking, reading, writing, and listening; 2). Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with an overall score of 30 based on four test components, namely speaking, reading, writing, and listening; or 3). Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) with an overall score of 147 based on four test components, namely speaking, reading, writing, and listening. To register for SDUWHV Australia, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1).18 to 30 years of age; 2). Graduated from Diploma Three (D3) vocational level or have undergone at least 2 (two) years of education at the bachelor degree level; 3). Never participated in a work and holiday program before; 4). Proof of identity, citizenship, and residence; 5). Proof of English language proficiency at least at a functional level; 6). Proof of active or available funds for living expenses during the initial period of staying in Australia; 7). Be in good health and well behaved; and 8). Not currently subject to immigration prohibited person list. Meanwhile, the required documents that must be prepared include: 1). recent photo with off-white background; 2). Electronic Identity Card (e-KTP) or valid e-KTP recording certificate; 3). Ordinary passport with a validity period of at least 18 (eighteen) months; 4). Certificate of English proficiency at a functional level (IELTS score of at least 4.5) issued by a foreign language education or training institution; 5). Police Record Certificate (SKCK) issued at least at the Regional Police level; 6). Proof of educational qualifications, namely: 7). Educational certificate for applicants graduated from bachelor degree or Diploma Three (D3), or 8). Certificate, transcript of semester records, and student card for an active student who have completed at least 2 (two) years of study at bachelor degree level; 9). Foreign diploma equivalency certificate issued by national government agency in the field of Higher Education, for graduates of foreign universities; and 10). Proof of ownership of active and liquid funds of at least 5000 AUD (five thousand Australian dollars) or equivalent, namely: 11). Bank statement for proof of funds availability (the applicant’s own fund), or 12). Bank statement, letter of guarantee from the account owner with sufficient stamp duty, e-KTP or a valid e-KTP recording certificate of the fund owner, and family card (if the funds belong to the applicant's parents/guardian). 13).
